Meet Katherine Pauly, DDS, MSD

Dr. Katherine Pauly experienced dental trauma at the age of ten years old. She slipped in the bathtub and fractured her two bottom teeth. Little did she know that this singular event would immensely influence the rest of her life.

Ten years after the accident and while attending college, Dr. Pauly was in excruciating dental pain. She received treatment from the Marquette University School of Dentistry Emergency Clinic. The dental resident explained that the nerve inside her fractured tooth became necrotic. Her pain was relieved by starting the root canal. It was at this visit that Dr. Pauly realized she wanted to become an endodontist. Dr. Pauly knew that she could care for others in this exact same manner.

Dr. Pauly understood the discomfort and anxiety one could experience with dental trauma. She felt that she could relate to and empathize with patients. These incidents in her life have introduced her to endodontics, and she is forever grateful for the events that have guided her to become an endodontist.
